California CattleWomen, Inc. Board of Directors accepted the resignation of President Merrilee Doss, since she and her husband have moved to St. George, Utah.
Melanie Fowle, Etna, was elected to fill the vacancy of President and will serve the remaining one year of the current President's term as well as a full term of two years if elected in 2010.
Pamela Payen, Loyalton, was elected to fill the vacancy of 1st Vice President and will serve the remaining one year of the current 1st Vice President's term as well as a full term of two years if elected in 2010.
Kim Bonde, Livermore, was elected to fill the vacancy of 2nd Vice President, and will serve the remaining two year term of Pamela Payen. Tammi McElroy, Gridley, was installed as 2nd Vice President for a three year term. (Replacing Sharon Crabtree, Alturas.)
Cassandra Doss, Humboldt Co. President, was installed as Northern Director to serve the remaining one year of the current 2nd Vice President Tammi McElroy.

CCW Chapter Membership Awards were sponsored by Lacey Livestock with Michele Murphy serving as Chairman. Membership - under 50 members 1st place Tulare; Membership - 50 to 100 members 1st place Tehama; Membership -101 to 149 members 1st place Siskiyou; and Membership above 150 members went to the San Luis Obispo chapter.

4th- Tulare, Beth Baxley - 500 cards;
5th- Kern, Patty Crouse- 438 cards;
6th- Santa Barbara, Robyn Moon & Gail- 407 cards;
7th San Benito, Carol Renz- 287 cards;
8th- Madera, Adele Bartholomew- 200 cards;
9th- Alameda, Merry Carter - 192 cards;
10th- San Luis Obispo, Colleen Hayes- 100 cards; and 11th- San Joaquin/Stanislaus with 90 cards. |
